Choosing a school for your child is a huge decision

NO APPLICATION FEE

To help families, we have no enrolment application fee. So you can complete an online application form, and have a tour of our school without any out-of-pocket expense.

Have you paid an enrolment acceptance fee elsewhere? No problem, even if you have enrolled somewhere else we will reimburse the enrolment fee you paid to that school, so you aren’t out of pocket. 

There is no reason not to apply and see what MacKillop Catholic College has to offer your family. 

ONE-STOP EDUCATION SOLUTION

With an Early Learning and Care Centre for newborns to Kindy onsite, and Prep to Year 9 in 2022, the college will reach Year 12 by 2025. We have 21st century facilities with state-of-the-art agile learning spaces. These facilitate delivery of the college’s dynamic and integrated curriculum that is essential to 21st century learning needs – for learners of all ages.

ENROL NOW

Children are eligible to attend Prep from the beginning of the school year in which they turn 5, provided that is by 30 June. Enrolment applications are accepted up to two years prior to the year of enrolling, While enrolment interviews are generally held in the year preceding enrolment, enrolments can be taken at any time provided there are vacancies, including just before the start of a school year or term.

A place where you know that they are safe, happy and being nurtured to be the best version of themselves. It’s been 19 years since Cairns has had a brand-new school. Located in the fields at the foot of Mount Peter in southern Cairns, it’s a beautiful location for learning. Love’s Buses run a northern and southern service to MacKillop, with all students from Prep to Year 12 eligible to travel.

Flexible fees

Catholic schools strive to keep fees as low as possible. We also offer means-tested concession card and multi-student discounts. Special consideration is also given to families experiencing hardship. No child will be denied enrolment due to genuine financial difficulty, so please speak to us for a solution.
