During the first two weeks of the holidays, both of the Primary playground extensions will be constructed – our students are very excited to come back to school to see these new facilities.
As you can see, Stage 5 is almost complete – each day a little more of the building is revealed as the scaffolding is removed. Block I will be named ‘Winsbury’ in honour of one of the houses of providence in the Rocks area of Sydney where, in the 1880s, Mary and the Sisters of Saint Joseph provided shelter and education for poor families. It will give us 12 new classrooms that will see us through to Year 12 in 2025. Next year, we enter into the senior secondary phase of learning with Year 11. We will be offering our older students a broad range of subjects and career pathways, tailored to meet the interests and careers they aspire to.
