As the end of the year draws closer, there are three standout observations we should celebrate together!
We have the most hardworking, kind-hearted students who show everyday their amazing ability to work together, adapt to challenges and embrace every learning opportunity that comes their way. Our students are so keen to engage in their learning and they are developing their self-belief; they are working to achieve more than they thought possible. Our students have continually risen to the challenges of being a part of an innovative learning environment; to be active learners; to be independent thinkers who can share their knowledge with others; and to be socially aware as confident contributors in our pioneering school community. We are very proud of the students in all their achievements – academically, physically, socially and emotionally. We have AMAZING kids at MCC!
Our fantastic students are cared for and guided by a large team of truly dedicated and committed staff. Our teachers, learning assistants and learning support teams possess an endless positivity, brilliant collaborative teamwork and an amazing work ethic. All staff members are dedicated to the challenge of building our school community, often under the most testing of times! The experience, knowledge and expertise of all staff has contributed to the rapid growth of our growing community. Collectively, the staff of MacKillop work tirelessly for our student-centered and innovative approach to teaching and learning. We have AWESOME staff at MCC!
MacKiIllop is fortunate to have many hardworking parents who make important contributions to the development and wellbeing of our growing school community. Thank you to our very supportive P&F for the wonderful events and initiative this year, and particularly the behind the scenes work such successful events entail. We are also very grateful for the support from all our parents who understand the challenges of building a new school community and those that have continued to support their children and their class teachers throughout the year. We have FANTASTIC parents at MCC!
MacKillop is a very special school with very dedicated people. The MCC community works so hard for our students who make everyday important as everyday matters. Building a new school requires understanding and enormous effort. Our tireless and wise Principal, Mr Luke Reed, describes our school journey similarly like that of building a plane as we are flying it!! Thank you to our students, staff, parents, families and whole school community for travelling with us and making the journey such a great ride!
