READERS CUP TEAM: Thank you so much to our wonderful Year 7 and 8 Readers Cup team who competed in the Regional Final held at Cairns State High School on Wednesday, 9 June 2021. It was a very successful day, and it was great to see the enjoyment and enthusiasm on our students’ faces. We were up against some stiff competition amongst the other schools in the region and the questions were very tough. Many library and school staff put so much work into running the Readers Cup competition every year and making this day happen, which is very much appreciated by the students. Well done to Ella, Bella, Ella, Aidan and Elijah for your participation and appreciation to Rebecca for being our reserve. Thank you also to Ms Brunott for driving and accompanying us. Congratulations to all teams as the promotion and extension of reading of all participating students is the best outcome!
