The start of the term has already seen an array of experiences and successes for our students, including our House Day, Swimming Carnival and Opening Liturgy. Trials for sports academies are underway, and the Volleyballers, Rugby League team and Netball teams have represented the College at the TCS trials, where a number of students were successful in gaining representative duties. We have welcomed the Gold Coast Suns to work with our HPE students, and Year 10 students have commenced their Work Experience preparations, and will be interviewed next week as part of this process. We also have a group of Year 10s attending the Cairns Writers’ Festival next Friday, which is sure to be a wonderful experience.
