Congratulations to all our MCC athletics teams who represented the college with pride and determination at the 10-12 yrs and 13-19 yrs TCS athletics trials last Tuesday and Wednesday. Both MCC teams left with excellent results from their carnival.
We are proud to announce that MCC finished with eight Age Champions across the college (top 4) and over 40 students qualifying for the Peninsula trials on the 20th of August and the 21st of August at Barlow Park.
Congratulations to Heleana Kuhn, who was awarded 1st place age champion for 14 yrs girls and Nikkola Veronese, who broke the 10 yrs girls 1500m record.
The 10-12 yrs MCC team finished 4th out of twenty schools, and the 13-19 yrs MCC team finished 4th out of eight schools. This is a brilliant result considering we don’t have any year 11 or 12 competitors in our MCC team yet!
We wish our athletes all the best for the Peninsula trials in August.
